North Carolina: Kissell poll shows him leading. Despite new district lines favorable to the GOP, it’s 46 percent for two-term US Rep. Larry Kissell (D) to 36 percent for ex-congressional aide Richard Hudson, the strongest of his Republican foes, according to a poll taken for Kissell March 15-20 by AnzaloneLiszt Research (D).

Moreover, if undecided African-American voters move to theDemocratic column, Kissell would be even stronger. On the bright side for theGOP, on a generic ballot, 43 percent of respondents say they “are more likely” to support a Republican to 36 percent who say a Democrat.
